Nike of Samothrace
This is the first study I've posted in a while, and I'm finally in a position where think I can start posting images of my work on a more regular basis. I arranged this statue (Nike of Samothrice) up in the light of an oil lamp that I picked up while deployed to Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia. I've been studying this low level lighting for a while ... I really enjoy painting in this type of lighting, and plan to continue to explore it.
